From June 23rd to 27th, the Lisbon City Foundation hosted the 4th edition of the Intercultural Mediation Course, welcoming 13 participants from Italy, Spain, and Greece — representing 6 nationalities and 4 different organizations.

Designed to foster peer learning and the development of mediation and intercultural dialogue skills, the course brought together professionals committed to creating more inclusive and cohesive communities.

A week of training, exchange and immersive experiences

De 23 a 27 de junho, a Fundação Cidade de Lisboa acolheu a 3ª edição do Curso de Mediação Intercultural, recebendo 13 participantes de Itália, Espanha e Grécia - representando 6 nacionalidades e 4 organizações diferentes.

The course covered key topics such as identity and belonging, conflict transformation, and tools for inclusive facilitation. Participants also explored methodologies for intercultural dialogue and shared experiences from their local contexts. The training emphasized peer-to-peer learning, allowing participants to learn from one another and reflect on their own practices.

One of the highlights of the week was the guided tour Migrantour through the neighborhood of Mouraria, organized in partnership with the Associação Renovar a Mouraria. This immersive experience offered a unique perspective on migration and cultural diversity in Lisbon, bringing theory into real-life context.
