About the Language and Culture project in Goa<\/h2>\n \n
\n

This project was developed over 18 consecutive years (from 1997 to 2015) with the aim of promoting the Portuguese language and culture in India, through Goa, and strengthening ties of friendship between the two peoples. The Portuguese courses, with three levels of complexity (A1, A2 and B1), were taught by teachers sent for this purpose, lasted five months and took place in the cities of Marg\u00e3o, Panjim, Calangute, Mapuss\u00e1 and Vasco da Gama. To complement these courses and provide a more accurate understanding of Portuguese history and culture, which are considered fundamental, the best students from each course were selected and offered a 17-day stay in Portugal, where they took part in a cultural programme covering various regions of the country.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
