Parish Council, the Alvalade School Cluster and Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Par \u2013 Respostas Sociais, Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Cidade de Lisboa has launched the TOD@S ON Digital Guide, an essential resource developed as an innovative response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>This guide is a direct outcome of the TOD@S ON project, implemented between October 2020 and October 2021, with the aim of supporting academic success and the socio-emotional development of the most vulnerable children, while promoting their social inclusion.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n key areas:<\/p>\n<p>Academic Skills: providing strategies to improve school performance.<\/p>\n<p>Personal and Social Skills: promoting emotional and social development.<\/p>\n<p>Distance Learning Skills: equipping pupils with the tools needed for effective learning in a remote environment.<\/p>\n<p>The guide includes a table featuring 12 session plans and 32 activities, as well as a selection of 33 online resources used throughout the project. These elements are intended to facilitate tutoring work and group support, ensuring structured and effective guidance for children and young people in vulnerable situations.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n    <\/article>\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"title-image-description\" class=\"title-image-description\">\n     <!-- Article content -->\n    <article class=\"article-content\">\n        <div class=\"container-fcl\">\n            \n                            <h2>Objectives of the TOD@S ON Project<\/h2>\n            \n            \n                            <p data-start=\"41\" data-end=\"237\">The TOD@S ON project was an innovative response to the educational and social difficulties intensified by the pandemic, particularly with regard to distance learning. Its main objectives included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"241\" data-end=\"385\"><strong data-start=\"241\" data-end=\"266\">Strengthening Skills:<\/strong> enhancing the ability of children, young people and families to study independently and organise learning from home.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"492\"><strong data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"420\">Empowering Community Agents:<\/strong> preparing community members to support distance learning effectively.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"661\"><strong data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"545\">Encouraging Participation in Group Activities:<\/strong> promoting activities to engage children during their free time, fostering their social and educational development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n                    <\/div>\n    <\/article>\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"title-image-description\" class=\"title-image-description\">\n     <!-- Article content -->\n    <article class=\"article-content\">\n        <div class=\"container-fcl\">\n            \n                            <h2>Impact and Results of the Project<\/h2>\n            \n            \n                            <p data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"150\">The impact of the TOD@S ON project on the Alvalade community was significant, with notable outcomes including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"666\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-section-id=\"16x17yb\" data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"214\">\n<p data-start=\"154\" data-end=\"214\">35 volunteers trained to support the project\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1y4ormm\" data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"274\">\n<p data-start=\"217\" data-end=\"274\">32 hours of certified training delivered to volunteers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"qdnr35\" data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"336\">\n<p data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"336\">30 pupils benefiting from personalised tutoring sessions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"t4ujl3\" data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"388\">\n<p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"388\">60 parental engagement initiatives carried out.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"19sjr86\" data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"446\">\n<p data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"446\">108 educational activities developed and implemented.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"10ljibe\" data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"507\">\n<p data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"507\">60 pupils involved in a range of educational activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"7xhjdf\" data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"587\">\n<p data-start=\"510\" data-end=\"587\">40 educational resources organised and made available in the Digital Guide.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1h2jevk\" data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"666\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"666\" data-is-last-node=\"\">1 webinar attended by 50 participants to disseminate the knowledge acquired.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n                    <\/div>\n    <\/article>\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"title-image-description\" class=\"title-image-description last-block\">\n     <!-- Article content -->\n    <article class=\"article-content\">\n        <div class=\"container-fcl\">\n            \n                            <h2>Continuity and Expansion of the Project<\/h2>\n            \n            \n                            <p>The success of the TOD@S ON project has motivated the continuation of this work in Alvalade, under the BIP\/ZIP programme, which aims to promote social inclusion in neighbourhoods and priority areas across the city of Lisbon.
