From September 16 to 20, the Lisbon City Foundation hosted an impactful intercultural mediation course, bringing together 16 participants from Italy, Austria and Ireland, representing eight different nationalities. This diversity fostered a rich exchange of perspectives and experiences, making the learning environment both dynamic and inclusive.
The participants engaged in a peer-learning process, developing skills essential for mediating across cultures, managing diversity, and facilitating dialogue. The course emphasized practical strategies for intercultural communication, equipping attendees with the tools to create inclusive environments across various contexts. As part of the program, the attendees visited the Associação Renovar a Mouraria and took part in the guided Migrantour, experiencing firsthand the vibrant multiculturalism of Lisbon.
