The Lisbon City Foundation (FCL) was recently accredited by the Erasmus+ programme in the adult training sector for the period 2024 to 2027. This accreditation will allow FCL to continue promoting training and study visits for its employees and beneficiaries in Europe.

In this context, FCL is returning to the development of the AprendeEU project, funded by Erasmus+ and the National Education and Training Agency, which aims to train its employees and collaborators through mobilities (courses or job shadowings) in Europe. In 2023, 18 employees, volunteers and service providers had the opportunity to take part in 6 of this project’s mobilities.

FCL Recebe Acreditação Erasmus+ e Continua a Promover Formação e Mobilidade na Europa

The activities in the previous edition included three job shadowings – education for citizenship, welcoming and including migrants and socio-educational support for vulnerable communities – which took place in Spain, Italy and Belgium. Three training programmes on values of active citizenship, teamwork and training, intercultural learning and cultural diversity in education were also held in Italy, Czech Republic and Finland.

With this initiative, FCL aims to establish international partnerships, promote learning among European peers and train its employees to better intervene and communicate in contexts of diversity.
