Almudena Ferro
Master's degree in Social Work, with over nine years of experience in community social intervention in Portugal and Spain. Works in the areas of education, inclusion, human rights, youth, and migration. Certified trainer, having created training courses for teachers, educators, and technicians, focused on interculturality and diversity management in educational contexts, at national and international level.
Camila Brito
Intercultural mediator and project technician. Master's student in International Relations, with experience in youth projects and personal development sessions in educational contexts. She has worked with at-risk youth and facilitated Portuguese language and literacy courses for migrants and refugees. She was a facilitator in the Erasmus+ Tools for YOU* project.
Rute Machado
Master's degree in Education Sciences, specializing in Educational Administration, and a degree in Educational Psychology, full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association. Certified and accredited trainer for teacher training. She has experience in community intervention since 2005. She has created and implemented training programs for teachers, social workers, and volunteers in the field of promoting academic success and education for global development and citizenship.
Manuela Sol González
PhD student in Portuguese as a Foreign Language, with experience in conference interpreting and Portuguese language teaching. Her professional background includes interpreting at international events and facilitating cultural workshops. A Camões Institute scholarship recipient, her research focuses on languages and migration, particularly within the Ukrainian community in Lisbon.

From June 23rd to 27th, the Lisbon City Foundation hosted the 4th edition of the Intercultural Mediation Course, welcoming 13 participants from Italy, Spain, and Greece — representing 6 nationalities and 4 different organizations.

The Intercultural Conversation Group of the Lisbon City Foundation (FCL) is already underway and will continue until August 2nd. This latest edition welcomes 13 migrants from four different nationalities: Ukraine, the United States of America, Venezuela and Russia.
FCL Training Center Runs Conversation Group for Avincis Employees
The Training Center of the Lisbon City Foundation (FCL) is running a conversation group to learn Portuguese for Avincis employees. With a total of more than 100 hours, this training will take place from June to December at the Salemas Heliport in Lousa – Loures.
End of Intensive Portuguese Initiation Course Celebrated with Cultural Diversity
The Intensive Portuguese Initiation Course, a 25-hour course held between 6 and 17 May at the premises of the Lisbon City Foundation, ended with an intercultural celebration. The course brought together 12 trainees of various nationalities from countries all over the world.
