The round table discussion ‘What is the future of private archives?’ took place at the Lisbon City Foundation on 26 June 2025.
The Lisbon City Foundation would like to thank speakers José Pacheco Pereira, Silvestre de Almeida Lacerda, Jorge Janeiro, and Luís de Sousa de Macedo for their reflections and contributions, as well as all participants who attended, making this meeting an important moment for debate on the preservation and future of private historical archives.
As part of the Poentes Olisiponenses conference cycle, the Lisbon City Foundation presents the conference ‘Islamic-Medieval Lisbon’.
With the participation of Professor Manuel Fialho Silva, this conference brought the history of Medieval Jewish Lisbon to the public.
On 17 September 2025, the 9th Conference of the Poentes Olisiponenses cycle was held at the Fundação Cidade de Lisboa.
