What for?
Overall objective: To promote the education and social inclusion of children, young people and families, raising levels of educational attainment through active social inclusion strategies, using an integrated approach – school, neighbourhood, family and individual – which involves training residents to become agents of local development and exploring audiovisual and artistic technologies as a basis for social experimentation and community engagement.
Specific objectives:
Increase the academic success of 60 children and young people by at least 30% in 24 months, compared to the baseline.
Increase the social skills of children, young people and families by at least 40% as a means of personal development and social transformation in 24 months, compared to the baseline.
Train at least 15 people from the community in mentoring and community development within 24 months, compared to the baseline.
For whom?
At least 60 children and young people: residents of the Bip/Zip 67 or 20 territories; with academic failure, lack of motivation for school, maladjusted social behaviour, difficulties in communication and personal expression, at risk of truancy or dropping out of school.
How?
Main activities:
A1- Focus on children – Support for psychosocial and academic development.
A2 – Focus on the family – supporting families in socio-educational development.
A3 – Focus on the community – training community mentors.
A4 – Focus on success – sharing community methodologies and best practices in film and guide.
