The Lisbon City Foundation (FCL) took part in its first Erasmus+ mobility programme in Cori, Italy, as part of the AprendeEU project. Between 4 and 8 November, a group of three participants – a staff member, a volunteer and an FCL partner – took part in the course “Gamification and the Creation of Digital Games”, promoted by APS Polygonal.
In this first course, held as part of the Erasmus+ accreditation for mobilities in the European Union from 2024 to 2027, FCL offered the trainees a five-day experience to explore gamification and educational game design practices, game management, development and implementation processes and digital storytelling techniques.
The activities, held at the Civic Library of Cori “Elio Filippo Accrocca”, enabled participants to develop essential skills in terms of diversity and intercultural communication, gamification, digital skills, collaborative intercultural learning, entrepreneurship and cultural expression.
In addition to the intensive training, the participants had the opportunity to get to know the local culture, sample Italian cuisine and explore the landscapes of Cori and Rome, further enriching the intercultural experience promoted by the programme. This is another important step in the AprendeEU project, promoting the training of skills that support FCL’s work in contexts of diversity and inclusion.
