Last March, at the Lisbon City Foundation, we held the fourth conference in the series “Poentes Olisiponenses – Lisboa Vista pelo Óculo de Viandantes”.  This series aims to explore the diversity of authors who, through their distinct styles of writing, portray Lisbon in a mythical or realistic light, capturing the city’s myriad hues, even those originating from places now lost or yet to be mapped.

It was with great enthusiasm that we welcomed the writer Richard Zenith to present “Fernando Pessoa, Our Guide to Lisbon”. Following the success of his acclaimed biography “Pessoa: An Experimental Life”, we look back on the sharing and discussion of his perspective on the Lisbon depicted in the works of one of our most cherished authors.
