The Fundação Cidade de Lisboa and the Portuguese Associação Portuguesa dos Arquivos Históricos Privados are organising a round-table discussion entitled ‘Lisbon in 1755 – Destruction and Reconstruction’

The event will feature talks by Professor Nuno Gonçalo Monteiro (a historian who has published works on the Pombaline period), Dr Joana Sousa Monteiro (Director of the Lisbon Museum) and Professor João Appleton (an expert in building structures and construction processes). Refreshments will be served at the end of the event.
