The Lisbon City Foundation (FCL) successfully completed its second Erasmus+ mobility in Poland between the 26th and 29th of November, as part of the Erasmus+ accreditation that enables mobilities within the European Union for FCL staff, collaborators, and learners.

This mobility, hosted by the Czepczyński Family Foundation (CFF), consisted of a four-day job shadowing experience and included visits to three Polish cities: Międzychód, Poznań, and Warsaw. A group of three FCL staff members had the opportunity to explore diverse educational and social contexts, creating synergies for future cooperation projects between Portugal and Poland.

During the mobility, meetings were held with various entities, including the Czepczyński Family Foundation, ODN (Poznań Teacher Training Centre), the Warsaw City Council Education Department, Fundacja GPW (Warsaw Stock Exchange Foundation), the Center for Innovative Education, and the Międzychód City Council.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about CFF’s work on projects such as ‘ABC of Economy’, ‘ABC of Empathy’ and ‘ABC of Emotions’, exploring innovative methods of working with children, teacher training and good language practices. In addition, they visited CFF partners to understand the importance of networking and contributions to a more diverse and inclusive education.

This experience strengthened the relationship between FCL and CFF, laying the groundwork for future collaborations and joint projects. At least two more mobilities for FCL staff are planned under this Erasmus+ accreditation by August 2025, reaffirming FCL’s commitment to continuous training and skills development in European contexts.

The mobility in Poland marked another significant milestone for FCL in promoting diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the educational and social sectors.
