The TOD@S ON Digital Guide was designed as a practical and accessible tool to support tutors and groups of children and young people in several key areas:

Academic Skills: providing strategies to improve school performance.

Personal and Social Skills: promoting emotional and social development.

Distance Learning Skills: equipping pupils with the tools needed for effective learning in a remote environment.

The guide includes a table featuring 12 session plans and 32 activities, as well as a selection of 33 online resources used throughout the project. These elements are intended to facilitate tutoring work and group support, ensuring structured and effective guidance for children and young people in vulnerable situations.

Objectives of the TOD@S ON Project

The TOD@S ON project was an innovative response to the educational and social difficulties intensified by the pandemic, particularly with regard to distance learning. Its main objectives included:

• Strengthening Skills: enhancing the ability of children, young people and families to study independently and organise learning from home.
• Empowering Community Agents: preparing community members to support distance learning effectively.
• Encouraging Participation in Group Activities: promoting activities to engage children during their free time, fostering their social and educational development.

Impact and Results of the Project

The impact of the TOD@S ON project on the Alvalade community was significant, with notable outcomes including:

• 35 volunteers trained to support the project’s activities.

• 32 hours of certified training delivered to volunteers.

• 30 pupils benefiting from personalised tutoring sessions.

• 60 parental engagement initiatives carried out.

• 108 educational activities developed and implemented.

• 60 pupils involved in a range of educational activities.

• 40 educational resources organised and made available in the Digital Guide.

• 1 webinar attended by 50 participants to disseminate the knowledge acquired.
