Erasmus+ Mobility in Genoa: Communication, Creativity, and Culture

Building bridges for the future

The group consisted of three students aged between 21 and 28, from Portuguese-speaking African countries. These students are beneficiaries of the University Cooperation College program, which supports the completion of their higher education and internships, with the aim of strengthening professional skills that will enable them to become agents of development in their countries of origin.

The objectives of this mobility program are to deepen their knowledge of European culture, improve communication and public speaking skills, and develop English language skills. The mobility program in Genoa was thus a unique opportunity to combine formal and informal learning in an international context, promoting intercultural dialogue.

Three days of communication, culture and creativity

For three days, participants engaged in activities designed to stimulate personal expression, creativity and intercultural dialogue.

On the first day, they explored storytelling and visual facilitation tools, carried out practical communication exercises and took an exploratory tour of Genoa, using their senses as a guide. On the second day, they organised a peer-sharing session and an intercultural lunch, followed by a visit to a museum, planned and prepared by the group itself. On the third day, they reflected on what they had learned and created a visual diary of the experience, using simple artistic techniques to record their impressions and cultural discoveries.

These activities strengthened their skills in autonomy, creativity, communication in English and group collaboration, while stimulating their curiosity about European cultural diversity.
