On May 24, 2024, the final webinar of the European project “Exchange for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, funded by Erasmus+, took place online. The event was attended by 32 participants, with an additional 24 people watching live.

Representing the culmination of a 15-month project, the webinar was another opportunity to highlight the importance of international collaboration in education for global citizenship. The round table on “Exchanges and Quality Education for Global Citizenship” featured leading experts, including:

Rita Leote (Portuguese Platform of NGO for Development): Discussed the impact of exchanges between partners on work quality from a national perspective.
Sara Goienetxe (Coordinator of NGO for Development in the Basque Country): Explored the peer-to-peer experience of NGOs, focusing on the local and regional impact of exchanges.
Maribel Pancorbo (Gantalcalá Association): Addressed non-formal educational approaches to Education for Global Citizenship, highlighting participants’ perceptions and feelings.

The project and the organizations involved were presented by the directors and teams from the Lisbon City Foundation and Neo Sapiens. A key highlight was the launch of the “Good Practice Guide,” available in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, featuring 13 innovative practices for adult education on SDGs and Global Citizenship Education. The guide includes methodologies such as storytelling, gamification, and arts and expressions, adapted to various contexts.

*The SDG Exchange project is promoted by the Lisbon City Foundation in partnership with Neo Sapiens and co-financed by the KA210-ADU Erasmus+ action.
