What for?
Overall objective: to contribute to the psychosocial, academic and civic development of vulnerable young people in the municipality of Lisbon.
Specific objective:
- to increase the motivation and academic success of students in vulnerable situations;
- to stimulate the personal and social development of students;
- to increase the socio-educational intervention skills of university students;
- to empower young people (students and volunteers) and senior citizens to promote citizenship.
Para quem?
Direct beneficiaries: Fourth- and ninth-year primary school pupils in the municipality of Lisbon who are in vulnerable situations (history of failing grades; poor academic performance; history of absenteeism).
How?
Main Activities:
- Expand and train the ACV Facilitators Network (tutors and volunteer facilitators);
- Conduct academic and socio-educational support sessions with students;
- Carry out actions to support parental involvement;
- Facilitate reflection-action activities for citizenship.
