What for?
Overall objective: to support the training of African senior staff from PALOP countries who are agents of change and drivers of sustainable development in their countries.
Specific objective: 1) to support the academic training of PALOP students; 2) to support the reception of students in the country; 3) to promote the cultural and professional training of students.
For whom?
Direct beneficiaries: young people from PALOP countries attending higher education courses at universities in Lisbon.
Scholarship application period: 2 to 31 May, for the following areas: Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering and IT. See application form and regulations below.
How?
Main Activities:
- Award scholarships to support attendance at university courses;
- Conduct Portuguese and English language training courses to support and promote the academic performance and future professional development of scholarship recipients;
- Promote socio-cultural programmes to foster the integration and socio-educational development of scholarship recipients;
- Facilitate academic internships with companies and institutions linked to the project.
