What for?
General objective: to contribute to the multi-level integration of NPTs into the host society, based on active citizenship and the exercise of their rights and duties.
Specific objectives:
- Provide individualised support to NPTs to help them overcome difficulties and challenges in terms of social, civic, economic and legal integration in Portugal;
- Empower NPTs in the process of social, economic and professional inclusion;
- Raise awareness in the community of the values of equity, social justice, dialogue and intercultural understanding;
- Promote continuous training for CLAIM technicians.
For whom?
Direct beneficiaries: migrants, third-country nationals.
How?
Main Activities:
- Passport to INTEGRATION – individualised assistance to NPT, information and support to NPT, and guided and accompanied referrals to support services or entities; active dissemination of CLAIM services;
- Passport to TRAINING – individual or small group mentoring and training sessions and creation of resources to support social, economic and legal inclusion and citizen participation; it also includes training CLAIM technicians during the operation to ensure an adapted and appropriate response to emerging needs and legal guidelines and instruments.
- Passport to INTERCULTURALITY – awareness-raising actions for the community, sharing actions within the CLAIM network and dissemination of project results and resources.
