Overall objective: to contribute to the promotion of critical thinking and the exercise of active global citizenship.
Specific objective: to raise awareness of global inequalities and interdependencies and empower people to act for a more just and sustainable world.
For whom?
Direct beneficiaries: Professores/as e alunos do primeiro ciclo do ensino básico, migrantes e técnicos de OSC.
How?
Main Activities:
- Create and promote intercultural learning communities for global citizenship;
- Involve students and teachers from two school communities in reflecting on development issues and implementing citizenship actions;
- Develop a ‘Development Dictionary’ and an exploration guide, with contributions from students and immigrants;
- Disseminate the ‘Development Dictionary’ through civil society organisations, schools and actors in Global Citizenship Education.
